This project included a large bedroom to incorporate a hospital type bed and bathroom for disabled person with hoist tracking throughout and an additional carer’s bedroom. We also relayed patio with slope from extension for easy access with a wheelchair.
Bringing Amy Home – This was a project with a difference as we tried to get all suppliers on board to drastically reduce the price of the build. MBS gave up their profit and even MBS staff, suppliers and contractors came together to raise money for the project through taking part in an assault course. All monies raised went to further reduce the cost of the build for this family.
The build was followed by various local papers and a final edition was published with picture on completion of the project.
