In conjunction with our architect, Gary Taylor of PGT Associates, we carried out extensions and alterations on a Grade 2 listed building.
During this project, in order to connect the two upper sections of the building, we adjoined the roofs, removed an internal staircase and re-positioned and carried out intricate alterations, whilst retaining the original features to comply with Listed Building Regulations.
We utilised this space by creating two extensions, one to encompass the new position of the staircase in the hallway and another to extend the existing kitchen.
Externally, the area around the new kitchen extension was given a new lease of life by buying up the higher ground using steelwork and sleepers and incorporating new steps. This was completed with a large patio area to complement the period of the property.
